Kyriakos Pierrakakis serves as the Minister of Economy and Finance in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and he is also a Member of the Hellenic Parliament.
He holds degrees in both computer and political science. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Athens University of Economics and Business, followed by a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and a Master of Science in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
From 2019 to 2023, as the Minister of Digital Governance, Mr. Pierrakakis implemented significant reforms that transformed the relationship between the state and its citizens. During his tenure, gov.gr, the digital portal for public services, was launched, consolidating over 1,500 new digital services—including the Gov.gr Wallet and the award-winning My Health app—streamlining procedures for millions of citizens and businesses, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was appointed Chair of the OECD’s Global Strategy Group Meeting in 2021, a role he was re-appointed to in 2024.
From 2023 to 2025, as the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, he led significant legislative reforms to establish a modern, high-quality, and inclusive education system. The Higher Education Bill, which was introduced during his tenure, empowers public universities through institutional and financial support, promotes their internationalization, and regulates the operation of branches of foreign universities. Schools embraced the digital era through initiatives such as the Digital Education Portal and a Digital Tutoring Platform providing educational resources even in the most remote areas of Greece. Moreover, the stop-bullying.gov.gr platform, stricter school regulations, and the “Active Citizen Actions” educational program reflected the Ministry’s firm commitment to improving school safety.

Panagiotis (Takis) Dimitriou Theodorikakos is Minister of Development and Member of Hellenic Parliament of Athens B3 Constituency (South).
He was elected in the 2023 national elections with 47.300 votes and was ranked second.
He was Strategy and Communication Advisor to the President of ND since October 2015 and Coordinator of Strategic Planning and Communication of the party, from October 2016 until the victorious election contests of May and July 2019 when he was elected as Member of State of the ND.
Graduated from the Pedagogical Department of EKPA. He completed his Master’s studies at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of EKPA in political science and sociology specializing in electoral sociology.

Vasilis Kikilias was born in 1974 in Athens. He is a graduate of Leonteios School of Nea Smyrni. He studied at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, pursued postgraduate studies at the National School of Public Health, and subsequently earned a doctorate from the Medical School. He is a surgeon specializing in orthopaedics.
Alongside his studies, he built a notable career in sports, particularly in basketball, playing for teams such as AEK, Panionios, Ionikos, and Apollon Patras, with his participation in the Hellenic National Basketball Team being a particularly distinguished honor.
His political career began in 2006 when he was elected as a Municipal Councilor of the City of Athens. From 2007 to 2010, he served as President of the Organization for Youth and Sports of the Municipality of Athens.
In November 2010, he ran for Regional Governor of Attica in the local elections and emerged as the leader of the major opposition party. That same year, he was appointed Secretary of Sports for the Nea Democratia political party, and the following year, he was designated as a Deputy Secretary of Program Planning.
The year 2012 marked a milestone in his political career, as he was elected Member of the Hellenic Parliament for the Athens 1st constituency with the Nea Democratia political party, a position he helds still continuously for the past twelve years. Throughout this period, he has participated in various parliamentary committees, including those on National Defense and Foreign affairs, Public Administration, Public Order and Justice, Social Affairs, and Gender Equality, among others.
In June 2014, he was sworn in as Minister of Public Order for six months, during which he achieved significant progress in combating terrorism.
In 2016, he was appointed as the spokesperson for Nea Democratia, and in 2017, he assumed the role of Head of the National Defense Sector for the Nea Democratia political party,.
In July 2019, he was appointed Minister of Health, successfully managing the critical period of the COVID-19 pandemic. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening the Greek healthcare system, overseeing the expansion of intensive care units, securing large-scale vaccine procurement and distribution, and implementing public health measures that contributed to controlling the spread of the virus.
In 2021, he was sworn in as Minister of Tourism, serving for two years. During this period, he focused on extending the tourism season, attracting high-value investments, and promoting Greece as a top global destination. His tenure saw record-breaking increases in tourist arrivals and revenues, reinforcing tourism as a key pillar of the Greek economy.
Since 2023, he has been serving as Minister for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, effectively addressing the challenges posed by climate change. Till today, he has implemented major reforms to enhance Greece’s preparedness and response mechanism to natural disasters. He has overseen the modernization of the countrys civil protection mechanisms, including the expansion of aerial firefighting capabilities and the reinforcement of emergency response teams. Additionally, he has introduced a more proactive approach to disaster prevention, with an emphasis on climate adaptation measures, improved early warning systems, and the coordination of European resources to combat extreme weather events. His leadership has been focused in strengthening Greeces resilience against natural disasters like wildfires, flash floods, and other climate-related crises.
A key project under his leadership is the AEGIS Programme, an ambitious 2.1 billion project fund aimed at upgrading Greeces civil protection mechanism. The programme includes the procurement of state-of-the-art firefighting aircraft, the incorporation of new technologies to emergency response, and the enhancement of disaster preparedness at both the national and local levels. AEGIS focuses on leveraging advanced technology, such as artificial intelligence and real-time monitoring systems, to improve early warning capabilities and crisis response and management. By implementing AEGIS, the Ministry seeks to establish a comprehensive and modern framework for addressing climate-related threats, ensuring preparedness against natural disasters in the years to come by building resilient communities and reducing the human and economic toll of these catastrophic events.
His involvement in politics stems from a personal need to contribute with faith, persistence, and seriousness to any effort that can create better conditions for all of us and for future generations. In such a challenging period, we all owe it to ourselves to have an active role in the public matters of our country. It is the least we can do. We have a responsibility and duty towards our child’s, fellow citizens and our nation.
From March 2025 to the present, he has assumed the duties of Minister of Shipping and Island Policy to strengthen shipping, support the islands and ensure the safety of our seas.
He is married to Jenny Balatsinou and they have a son.
Niki Kerameus was born on July 18, 1980, in Thessaloniki. She is married to lawyer Dimitris Loukas, and together they have two sons, Loukas and Konstantinos.
She holds a law degree from the Panthéon-Assas University Paris II with a specialization in international law, a master’s degree in private international law and arbitration from the same university, and an LL.M. focused on international arbitration from Harvard Law School.
Professional experience
She is a lawyer and a member of both the Athens Bar Association and the New York Bar Association. From 2004 to 2019, she practiced law in Athens and New York, mainly focusing on civil law and arbitration, until she assumed the position of Minister of Education and Religious Affairs.
During her postgraduate studies in France, she worked as a teaching assistant at the Panthéon-Assas University Paris II, teaching first-year law students.
Parliamentary and political activities
On July 14, 2024, she assumed the position of Minister of Labour and Social Security of the Hellenic Republic. Previously, she served as Minister of the Interior of the Hellenic Republic from 2023 to 2024. During her term, postal voting was introduced for the first time in the history of Greece and a new framework for the selection and evaluation of public body executives was established.
From 2019 to 2023, as Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, she worked systematically to improve the quality of education at all levels, particularly under the challenging circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. Key reforms during her tenure include the extension of compulsory preschool education by one year, starting from the age of 4, the introduction of English and Robotics from kindergarten, the implementation of courses focused on the development of skills (e.g. critical thinking, empathy) for ages 4 to 15, the evaluation of teachers, educators and education executives, the strengthening of public university extroversion and internationalization through partnerships with leading institutions abroad, and the overall upgrade of vocational education and training.
Since 2015, she has been an elected Member of the Hellenic Parliament with the New Democracy Party, originally for the State Constituency and, since 2019, representing the Athens B1 Constituency (North). Her roles within the party include serving as Responsible for the Administrative Reform and E-Government Sector from March 2015 to January 2016, Parliamentary Spokesperson from January 2016 to November 2016, and Head of the Education, Research and Religious Affairs Sector from November 2016 to July 2019. She has played an important role in shaping the New Democracy Party’s policy proposals, particularly relating to a comprehensive education program and curriculum, voting rights for Greeks living abroad, improvements of the organ and tissue donation system and the constitutional amendment proposals.
Social activities
She is a founding member and the first President of the non-profit foundation Desmos. While working in New York, she was awarded for her pro bono work, providing free legal services to New York homeless groups.

In 2015, she represented Greece in the IVLP (International Visitor Leadership Program), as a scholar of the United States Department of State, on the topic “The Role of Public-Private Partnerships in Rebuilding Economies”. She speaks three foreign languages: English, French and Spanish.
Nikolaos Dendias was born in Corfu and hails from Paxi. He is a graduate of the Athens College and of the Athens University Law School (with honors). He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of London, specializing in Maritime and Insurance Law (University College – UCL) and Criminology (London School of Economics – LSE).
He is a Supreme Court Lawyer.
Nikolaos Dendias was first elected Member of Parliament in 2004 and has been re-elected ever since. He has served as Minister of Justice (2009), Minister of Public Order and Citizen Protection (2012-2014), Minister of Development and Competitiveness (2014), Minister of National Defense (2014-2015) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (2019-2023). In June 2023 he was reappointed Minister of National Defense.

He served as Secretary of International Relations and the European Union of New Democracy Party (2004-2012). He was elected Chairman of the Student Organization of the European People’s Party (EDS), Chairman of DEMYC (Democrat Youth Community of Europe, 1997-2001), he was a founding member of the Youth of the European People’s Party (YEPP) and a member of the Political Council of the European People’s Party.
He was born on 23 July 1967, to Nikos and Fani Papastavrou. He is married to Mari Agaliotou and has two children, Nikolas and Fenia.
Christos Dimas is a lawyer and Member of Parliament for Corinth with the New Democracy party. He was born on 29 May 1980. He graduated from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and from Queen Mary University of London. He received his Master’s degree in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
He then completed his PhD in European Politics from the LSE, with a scholarship from the Alexander Onassis Foundation. The title of his doctoral thesis is: “The importance of the national institutional framework and domestic consultation during proposed reforms. The case of the privatization of national telecommunications in Greece and Ireland”.
In parallel with his studies, he worked as a correspondent in London for the newspaper “I Apogevmatini”, while also doing an internship in journalism at the BBC.
At the age of 25, he was teaching, as an assistant professor, at the LSE to first-year students, the course “Introduction to Political Science”. He has also taught the course “Social Impacts of Mass Media” to postgraduate students at the ICON College of the University of Leicester and was a scientific associate at the Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence. He has scientific publications in Greek and international scientific journals.
Before running for office, he worked in the private sector as a business consultant at “The Boston Consulting Group (BCG)”, a strategic consulting firm.
He was elected MP for Corinth with the New Democracy party in the elections of May and June 2012 and has been elected continuously since then.

During his thirty five year career, he served as a C-level executive for large corporations with a successful track record in developing business plans, reorganizing and streamlining operations that led to significant positive economic outcome.
He received his B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and his M.A.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Toronto, followed by a Masters in Management Science at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
He commenced his career at the DeHavilland Aircraft Company (Bombardier Aerospace) in Toronto while later he served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI) and executive Vice President of Olympic Aviation, a regional airline company. During his professional years, he worked mainly in the private sector while he reached high executive and C level managerial positions in companies in Greece and abroad.
He managed companies in the fields of construction, real estate development to public transportation as he served as CEO in the Athens Line 1 metro rail system and subsequently Chairman and CEO in the Athens Metro and Light rail system for a total of eight years. From 2008 to 2010 he served as a President- elect of the Greek branch of the European Centre of Employers and Enterprises providing Public Services (CEEP) which is a General Cross Industry social partner recognized by the EU Commission. From 2017 holds the Chair of the President of the Institute of Democracy “Konstantinos Karamanlis”, a scientific non-profit organization. He served from 2016 until the national elections of 2019 as Director General of the presently governing political Party of “Nea Democratia”.
Stefanos Gkikas was born in Corfu in 1960.
He graduated from the Hellenic Naval Academy with Distinction. He is also graduate of the US Navy Operational Training Center in San Diego, USA.
He has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Monterey, CA, USA, a Master’s in Strategic and Defense Studies and a Master’s in Naval Science and Strategy.
He speaks English fluently. He has also knowledge of French language.
As a Naval Officer, he served on board HS “LEMNOS” (Frigate F-451) and participated in the ship’s important mission in the Persian Gulf (1991-1992). He also served as Commanding Officer of HS “ANNINOS”, a Missile Patrol Boat during the IMIA crisis (1995-1996) and as Commanding Officer of HS “SALAMIS” (Frigate F-455), Flagship of the Hellenic Navy (2003-2004).
From 2000 to 2003, he served in the National Military Delegation of Greece at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
From 2004 to 2007, he was Spokesperson and Director of Information and Press at the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense.
In July 2007, he resigned from the Hellenic Navy with the rank of Admiral (L.H.) and entered into politics, joining the New Democracy Party. He has been honored with the highest awards and commemorations provided for his rank.
During the period 2010-2014, he was appointed by the then President of the New Democracy Party, Antonis Samaras, as Deputy Head of the National Defense Sector of the Party. In July 2015, he was appointed respectively, by the next President of the Party, Vangelis Meimarakis, as Deputy Head of Tourism.
He was elected Member of Parliament representing Corfu, (New Democracy Party) in the elections of January 2015, July 2019 and May and June 2023.

Nikos Androulakis was born in 1979 in Athens and grew up in Heraklion, Crete. He studied Civil Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace and holds a master’s degree in the “New Materials and Environment” program.
In 2006, he was elected to the National Assembly of the Technical Chamber of Greece representing Eastern Crete.
In 2008, he was elected to the Central Political Committee of PASOK and in 2013, he was elected Secretary General of the Party.
In May 2014, he was elected Member of the European Parliament and he was re-elected again in 2019 where he was vice-chair of SEDE Subcommittee on Security and Defence, and vice-President the EU-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly.
He is President of PASOK – Movement for Change since December 2021.
Following the Legislative elections of June 2023, he is Member of Parliament for Thessaloniki.
Alexandra Sdoukou was born in 1978 and raised in Thessaloniki, originally from Grevena and Ioannina. She graduated in 2000 from the law school of Democritus University of Thrace and holds postgraduate degrees in European Commercial Law from the University of Bristol, Great Britain, as well as in International & Economic Studies from the Athens University of Economics. She is a lawyer and a permanent executive in the Development Program Management Organization Unit (DPU SA) of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance. Since 2004, she has been working in public administration in the Ministries of Economy (2004-2007), Development (2007-2009), Environment, Energy and Climate Change (2009-2015).
She has extensive expertise and experience in the design, management and monitoring of co-financed European programs and public projects as well as energy policies, while from 2007 to 2015 she served as an advisor to the Ministers of Energy.
In 2016-2017 she took a break and worked in the private sector.
From October 2017 to 2019 she worked as an Advisor on Energy and Natural Resources to the President of New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakis. From 2019-2023 she served as Secretary General of Energy and Mineral Raw Materials. On June 27, 2023, she assumed the duties of Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy and handed over the portfolio in March 2025.

He served as Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports from 2009 to 2012. In 2019, as a candidate for Mayor, he ran for the Municipality of Athens with the “ATHENS IS YOU” faction. In 2021, he took part in the elections for the Presidency of PASOK. Since 2022, he has been Secretary of the PASOK-KINAL Tourism Sector. In May 2023, he was elected Member of Parliament for the 1st Athens District. In June 2023, he was re-elected.

Manos Manousakis is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer of Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO SA) since June 2017.
Previously, Mr. Manousakis was the CEO of OTE Rural North and South, having held various positions of responsibility in the Greek Telecommunications Company, where he played an instrumental role in the design of cutting-edge telecommunication services. He was appointed Secretary General of the Hellenic Ministry of Economy (2015), as well as a Director at Black Sea Trade and Development Bank for the same period.
Mr Manousakis holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. He has also academic experience, having been a lecturer at the University of Piraeus. His career combines business development leadership and complex project management with country strategic planning.
Giorgos N. Stasinos is a Civil Engineer with a Diploma, a graduate of the University of Patras and works as a Freelancer.
He has been elected President of the TEE since 2015 and a member of the TEE Delegation since 2006.
He is a member of the TEE Steering Committee, President of the TEE – TMEDE Institute, a member of the Board of Directors of the Organization for the Promotion of Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods (OPEMED), a member of the Economic and Social Committee of Greece (OKE) and an elected external member of the Board of Directors of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA).
He has served as President of the National Youth Council (2004-2010) and President of the Association of Civil Engineers of Greece (2012-2014).
Prof. Konstantinos Tsimaras is the President of the Hellenic Regulatory Authority for Energy, Water and Waste (RAAEY), a position he has held since 2020, providing strategic leadership, regulatory oversight, and international representation for the Authority. In this role, he represents Greece in major European and international regulatory fora, including ACER, CEER, MEDREG, ERRA, ECRB, EMGF, the Balkan Energy School, and RegulaE.Fr.
He also serves as Vice‑President of WAREG and MEDREG, contributing to coordinated regulatory approaches and policy development across Europe and the Mediterranean. His responsibilities include the supervision of EU policy monitoring, cross‑border regulatory cooperation, and bilateral institutional engagement in the fields of energy and water.
Prof. Tsimaras has been an academic since 2002, serving as Professor of Public Law with teaching and research activities in constitutional and administrative law, energy and environmental law, EU public economic law, and broader fields of public law. His academic work is complemented by extensive public‑sector advisory experience. He has served as Legal Adviser to the Minister of Interior and Public Administration (2004–2009), the Minister of Tourism (2012–2015), and the President of the Republic of Cyprus (2020–2023), providing high‑level expertise in constitutional, administrative, and public international law.
His governance and institutional roles include service as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Open University (2019–2024) and long‑standing engagement with the Council of Europe as an Expert on decentralisation and local governance (2007–2018; 2023–present). His earlier professional experience includes legal work in public entities such as Information Society S.A. and the Hellenic Audiovisual Archives, with a focus on administrative law, public procurement, and EU law.
Prof. Tsimaras holds a PhD in Law from the University of Paris I (Panthéon‑Sorbonne), complemented by postdoctoral research at the Universities of Toledo and Lisbon and at the Constitutional Court of Portugal. He is the author of five books and more than thirty scholarly articles, and he has delivered over thirty presentations at international conferences. He is a native speaker of Greek and fluent in French and English, with additional proficiency in Portuguese and Italian.
Mr. Alexandros Exarchou is the Chairman and CEO of AKTOR Group of Companies, and CEO of ATLANTIC SEE LNG TRADE. Mr. Exarchou has over 25 years’ experience in the construction of public projects in Greece and abroad.
Apart from Greece, Mr. Exarchou has worked and managed projects in Europe, Middle East and North Africa.
He is also Partner of Thrivest Holding Ltd, which is the majority shareholder of Credia Bank. Mr. Exarchou holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Thessaloniki Law School, a diploma in English Legal Studies and a Master of Law from the School of Law of University of Manchester.
Under his leadership, TMEDE became the 1st integrated digital services provider in its sector and attained full membership in the prestigious European Association of Guarantee Institutions (AECM). He strategically amplified TMEDE’s lending role through the establishment of TMEDE Microfinance Solutions, in conjunction with a joint fund with the Hellenic Development Bank, facilitating working capital of up to €400,000 for SMEs. Furthermore, the Group expanded its services in 2020 through TMEDE Properties, offering specialized and client-focused services in Real Estate Financial Management Consulting.
Mr. Makedos’s distinguished career includes prior tenures as Chairperson of Attica Bank and Vice-Chairperson of Pancreta Bank. Giorgos Sachinis is the Head of Strategy and Innovation of EYDAP, the Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company. He is a Board Member of Water Europe and a member of the Ad-hoc Task Group on Water Scarcity and Droughts within the EU’s Common Implementation Strategy (CIS). He has worked in EYDAP since 2004 and has served in the Policy Advisory Committee of Water Europe and the Steering Committee of GWOPA UN-Habitat. He is also on the Management Board of UrbanDig Project, a non-profit organization that promotes community engagement on environmental issues through culture. He is a Civil and Environmental Engineer (MSc UCAL Berkeley, BSc Duke University).
Yannis Stournaras was born in Athens on 10 December 1956. He graduated from Filothei High School in 1974 and from the Department of Economics, University of Athens in 1978. He obtained his post-graduate degrees (MPhil 1980, DPhil 1982) from Oxford University, where he also worked from 1982 to 1986 as a Research Fellow and Lecturer at St. Catherine’s College and as Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. Today, he is Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Athens.
Following his return to Greece, he worked as a Special Advisor to the Ministry of Economy and Finance (1986-1989) on public enterprises and incomes policy issues, and to the Bank of Greece (1989-1994) on monetary policy issues. From 1994 to July 2000, he was Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. In this capacity, he was involved in the design of macroeconomic and structural policies, represented the Ministry in the Monetary Committee of the European Union, took part in the negotiations for the entry of Greece in Economic and Monetary Union and was responsible for the annual consultations with the IMF, the European Commission and the OECD.
He was Vice Chairman of the Public Gas Corporation (1994-1997) and a Board member of the Public Debt Management Office (1998-July 2000). From 2000 to 2004, he was Chairman and CEO of Emporiki Bank and Vice Chairman of the Hellenic Bank Association. From 2005 to August 2008, he was managing director of Kappa Securities. He served as Director General of the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE) (September 2009-June 2012) and as Minister of Development, Competitiveness and Shipping in the caretaker government (May-June 2012).
From July 2012 to June 2014, he served as Minister of Finance.
George Sp. Alexandratos was born in Athens in 1973, with family origins from Kefalonia. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Shipping Business from the University of Plymouth and a Master of Science (MSc) in Maritime Policy from Cardiff University. He is the Managing Director of Apollonia Lines S.A., a company founded by his father, Spiros, in 1974, specializing in dry bulk shipping.
George Sp. Alexandratos serves as President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, having been elected in January 2025, after serving as Vice President since 2018. He previously served for 19 years as Vice President and Secretary General of the Association of Short Sea Shipping Companies of Greece.
In addition, he served as President of the Piraeus Marine Club for a three-year term (2022–2025). He strongly believes in synergies and actively supports Maritime Hellas, the official Greek maritime cluster initiative.
Mr. Nikolaos E. Attaliotis is a lawyer at the Supreme Court and the Council of Greece (on suspension), a graduate of the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He also holds a postgraduate degree in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Kent at Canterbury, London Center of International Relations, Great Britain.
He has also actively participated and attended conferences and training seminars related to Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiations
He has been Vice President of the Hellenic Ports Regulatory Authority since July 2022.
He has worked as a lawyer for more than twenty years, during which he has handled complex and intricate cases related to various areas of private law, providing legal services to individuals or legal entities, either advisory or representing them before the courts of the country. He has also participated in legal working groups on, among others, due diligence audits, mapping of needs for compliance requirements, business planning and organization. He has also served as a member of the primary and secondary Licensing Committee of the Hellenic Ports Authority as a legal advisor.
He was a regular member of the Council for Island Policy (SY.NI.PO.), of the General Secretariat for the Aegean and Island Policy of the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy, which operates under the supervision of the Prime Minister, from August 2020 to June 2022.

Andreas Giakoumelos is a senior executive with extensive experience in strategy, leadership, and maritime affairs. As Director at Venergy Maritime, he drives the company’s strategic vision, leading key initiatives across ship acquisitions, newbuilding projects, financing, fleet growth, and commercial development.
Before moving into executive leadership, Andreas practiced as a shipping finance lawyer at leading international law firms, including Watson Farley & Williams and Stephenson Harwood LLP, advising international banks, lessors, joint ventures, private equity funds, and shipping companies on complex maritime and financing transactions.

Nikos Vettas is the General Director of the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research – IOBE since 2013 and Professor of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) since 2003, where he has also served as the Chairman of the Economics Department and a member of the University Council.
He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, and has been an Associate Professor at Duke University, USA, and a visiting Professor at INSEAD in France and Singapore. He serves as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Industrial Organization, a Research Fellow at CEPR, UK, and a member of the Executive Committee of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics.

He is a co-organizer of the annual Conference for Research on Economic Theory and Econometrics, since 2002. His research has been published in leading journals such as the International Economic Review, European Economic Review, Rand Journal of Economics, and the Review of Economic Studies. Michalis G. Argyrou is Head of the Economic Office of the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic. Since July 2023, he has been a full member of the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank. During the period July 2019 – August 2025, he served as Chairman of the Council of Economic Experts of the Ministry of Finance of the Hellenic Republic. In this capacity, he represented Greece in the Economic and Fiscal Committee (EFC), the Eurogroup Working Group (EWG) and the Board of Directors of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM). He is one of the five members of the Steering Committee that prepared the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, “Greece 2.0”.
He is a graduate of the Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and holds a Master’s and PhD in Economics from the University of London (Queen Mary College). Since July 2019, he has been a Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus (on unpaid leave due to public service). He previously served as Lecturer, Assistant and Associate Professor of Economics at Cardiff University (2005–2019) and as Lecturer in Economics at Brunel University (1998–2005).

Spyros Theodoropoulos leads the food group BESPOKE SGA HOLDINGS S.A., which he founded in early 2022. Today, the group consists of the companies ION, ΑMBROSIA and HELLENIC JUICES. The group employs more than 1,450 people.
He began in 1976 at the family-owned dairy production company Recor S.A. In 1989, he acquired CHIPITA with the aim of implementing the innovative idea of producing packaged long shelf-life croissants, for the first time worldwide. In 2006, CHIPITA merged with the companies DELTA, Goody’s, and Barba Stathis, creating the Group VIVARTIA. In 2007, VIVARTIA was acquired by MIG, and Spyros Theodoropoulos continued to hold the position of CEO.
In 2010, Spyros Theodoropoulos, together with the Olayan Group and other Greek entrepreneurs, reacquired CHIPITA, which he developed into one of the leading companies in bakery snacks globally. CHIPITA was acquired by MONDELEZ in 2021, in a landmark deal for the Greek food sector.

Ioannis Bratakos was born in Athens in 1968. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering & Management and a Master’s degree in Political Economy from the London School of Economics & Political Science. In 1999 he co-founded DD Synergy, a company that offers software and hardware solutions. He has been actively involved in the SAP software services field, from 1995 to 2022.
He has been a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of GREGORYS MICROMEALS and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the consulting firm CAPE CONSULTING.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2006. In December 2017 he was elected as the Chamber’s Vice President, supervising innovation, new technologies and investments, as well as the domestic start-up ecosystem.
During his service at the ACCI, he has been a member to numerous Committees, including the Steering Committee for Progress & Development and the Monitoring Committee of the National Reform Program for the Lisbon Strategy. Fragiski Melissa has studied Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds postgraduate degrees in Industrial/Organizational Studies from the Columbia University and in Social Studies from the New School for Social Research.
She brings extensive experience in human resources, having served as Head of Human Resources for Vodafone in Greece and Romania for eight years.
Prior to that, she held the position of Regional Human Resources Director for Southeastern Europe at Colgate-Palmolive.
Earlier in her career, she led the human resources function at Makro Cash & Carry in Greece and served as a Senior Manager at KPMG.

Petros S. Kokkalis is a Greek politician, environmental advocate, and social entrepreneur who served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2019 to 2024. Throughout his mandate, his work centered on embedding the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the core of EU policymaking. Crucially, he served as the rapporteur for the European Parliament’s landmark report on the implementation and delivery of the SDGs (A9-0174/2022). As a member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI), he championed data-driven climate policy and structural economic shifts “beyond GDP” toward a post-growth model rooted in well-being and environmental resilience.
At the “Hellas 2030” forum, Mr. Kokkalis will address the future of the regional development model, providing expert commentary on the Eurostat sustainable development report arriving on June 5th, 2026, and presenting forward-looking strategic pathways through the www.hellas2030.gr initiative.

Dr. Eleni Doundoulaki was born in Athens. She graduated from Athens College.
She is a theatre scholar, a PhD holder with distinction and a graduate of the Department of Theatre Studies of the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as the holder of two relevant postgraduate degrees, from the Department of Theatre of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Department of Theatre Studies of the National Academy of Arts and Sciences.
She is also a cultural policy and management consultant, holding two relevant postgraduate degrees: MA in European Cultural Policy and Administration from the University of Warwick and MSc in Culture and Society from the London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE.
She has worked in the field of Culture as a theater expert and set designer as well as in the field of production, collaborating with the Athens and Epidaurus Festivals, the National Theatre of Greece, the Roumeli Regional Theatre, the Karolos Koun Art Theatre, the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, ERT, etc. From 2010 to 2014 she served as Artistic Director of the Roumeli Regional Theatre, where, in addition to her artistic and administrative work, she edited and signed the anniversary publication 30 years of the Roumeli Regional Theatre 1984-2014.
She has taught at the Department of Theatre Studies of the National Academy of Theatre and Film, has participated and presented papers at scientific conferences and workshops in Greece and abroad, and writes articles on theatre studies and cultural management.

Andreas Lykourentzos was born in Tripolis, Arcadia, in 1957. He is a graduate of Panteion University, from the department of Political Studies, having followed the direction of Comparative Political Analysis.
He was elected as Member of Parliament for the region of Arcadia in the National Elections in 2004, 2007, 2009 and 2012.
During his eleven-year parliamentary term, he participated as a member in the Standing Parliamentary Committees on: Social Affairs, Finances, Educational Affairs, Public Administration and in the Special Committees on: the Environment, the Review of the Constitution and Districts.
He served as a Deputy Minister of National Education and Religions during the Government administration of Kostas Karamanlis 2007- 2009. He served as a Minister of Health during the Government administration of Antonis Samaras in 2012- 2013.
From 1st November 2019 since, he has been appointed as the President of the Organisation of Greek Agricultural Insurances.
Born in Larissa on January 10, 1972, he is married and has one son. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) and is an active lawyer at the Larissa Court of First Instance.
Since 2005, he has been actively involved in the consumer movement, serving as the elected President of the Consumers’ Institute of Thessaly (IN.KA Thessalias). He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) and as Vice President of the National Council for Consumer and Market Affairs (ESKA).
He has been continuously elected as a Member of Parliament for the Larissa constituency since January 2015 and served as Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food from 2016 to 2019.

Simeon Diamantidis was born in 1963 in Nea Michaniona of Thessaloniki. He is President and CEO of Diopas SA since 1982.
Diopas SA is a family business that manufactures nets for aquaculture, fishing, sports, as well as any special construction based on the net. It sells its products throughout Greece as well as in countries of Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. It is an environmentally friendly company and participates with various actions in the circular economy. Diopas SA is very active in research and development with the aim of zero environmental footprint.

Georgios Karathanasis is the Vice President of ILIOS Spices, one of the most established Greek companies in the food sector.

His professional career at ILIOS Spices began thirteen years ago, when he assumed the position of Director of Internal Audit and Human Resources. Nikos Chatzinikolaou was born on October the 9th 1962, in Alexandroupolis, Evros. He started working as a journalist in 1983 covering education topics in the newspaper “MESIMVRINI”.
In 1984, he received the “Botsi” award for journalism. He then started to cover political issues. Meanwhile, he started his collaboration with the Sunday edition of the newspaper “Akropolis”, the newspaper “Ethnos” and the magazines “ENA” and “STATUS”.
In 1987, he started working for the newly founded radio “ATHINA 9,84”. At the same time he became member of the founding committee of the station. He also temporarily worked at the radio stations “ERA”, “SKY 100,4”, “PLANET” and “STATUS FM”.
In 1989, he started his collaboration with MEGA TV station. From 1998 until 2003 he was General Director of News and Information department of the station.
From 2003 until 2007, he collaborates with ALPHA TV Station, as Executive Vice President and General Director of News and Information department and later, as Chairman and CEO.
From April 2007 until October 2011 he collaborates with ALTER TV station.
In September 2007 he founded along with Andreas Kouris the «Real Group», which owns the radio station “Real Fm 97.8” in Athens, “Real Fm 107.1” in Salonica, “Ellinikos 93,2” in Athens, the weekly (every Sunday) newspaper “Real News” and the news portal “Real.gr”.
In 2012 Nikos Chatzinikolaou created his own personal site-blog “Enikos.gr” and the financial news blog “Enikonomia.gr”.
From September 2013 until June 2016, he collaborates with STAR Channel TV Station.
Since January 2017, he is the anchorman of the main news edition of ANT1 TV Station.
Nikos Chatzinikolaou is board member of European Newspaper Publishers Association (ENPA).
She studied Political Sciences at the Department of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and media training at the BBC Academy. She is a journalist, political analyst, TV anchorwoman until 2011 and General Manager of the think tank Institute of Democracy, Konstantinos Karamanlis until 2014.
She is an experienced and distinguished media trainer for “tradional” and cyber crisis management in companies such as: PETROLA HELLAS, HELLENIC PETROLEUM (ELPE), LAFARGE BETON, HALYPS BUILDING MATERIALS, ITALCEMENTI GROUP, REGENCY CASINO THESSALONIKI, HSBC, CREDIT AGRICOLE LIFE, DELTA, KATSELIS, GOODY’S, EVEREST, CARREFOUR, GENESIS FARMA and others.

Panagis Galiatsatos was born in Athens in 1959. He studied History and Political Science in Darmstadt University, Germany. Α journalist since 1996, he worked as a political and diplomatic editor for the newspapers ΤΑ ΝΕΑ, Eleftheros Typos and Kathimerini.
He was correspondent for the Swiss newspaper NZZ during the financial crisis. Since 2017 her is editor in chief in the political department of Real News
